\n<\/span><\/span>Swiss\/ Swedish soundscape artist Chris Sigdell melts the boundaries between ambient electronic music and musique concr\u00e9te. Since 2005, he has toured 22 countries and done 3 US tours. He has performed at such renown festivals as: Norberg Festivalen, Audio Art Festival, Les Digitales, Temple Of Silence, PNEM Sound Art Festival, St\u00f8y P\u00e5 Landet, and many more. He is signed to Hots (Spain) and Reverse Alignment (Sweden).
\n<\/span><\/span>The new vinyl \u201cFractured\u201c (Hots 02) will be available on vinyl and download in September – as well as two CDs, \u201cThe Long Journey\u201d & \u201cMonastic\u201d (Reverse Alignment). Chris Sigdell is composing and performing live the music for \u201eVertikal\u201c by circus-artist Finn Jagd Andersen (Zirkus Gonzo).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

EMERGE<\/span><\/strong><\/span> lehnt sich an die minimalistischen Traditionen des Experimentalismus und der nicht-akademischen Ger\u00e4uschmusik an. Der Fokus liegt auf der Generierung von Klanggebilden, die frei interpretierbare Atmosph\u00e4ren an die Oberfl\u00e4che holen sollen. Die Auswahl der verwendeten Klangquellen ist meist sehr eingeschr\u00e4nkt und die urspr\u00fcnglichen Kl\u00e4nge selbst durch diverse Verfremdungen h\u00f6chstens rudiment\u00e4r erkennbar. Oft wird auch Basismaterial von diversen K\u00fcnstlern\/Musikern verwendet und recycelt. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eigenidyll<\/strong> s<\/b><\/span><\/span>ind Sascha Stadlmeier (EMERGE, Augsburg) und Tobias Schmitt (szmt, Frankfurt). F\u00fcr dieses Projekt bewegen sie sich aus ihren jeweiligen rein elektronischen Komfortzonen, um als \u201eGitarrenduo\u201c zu improvisieren. Dabei werden die Sounds der Gitarren mittels der jeweiligen Processing- und Loop-Maschinerie bearbeitet. Die unterschiedlichen Herangehensweisen bzgl. Verwendung der Instrumente und der Verfremdung der Kl\u00e4nge verschmelzen schlu\u00dfendlich zu etwas eigenartig Neuem.
