Die Ausbreitung des Informationsüberflusses ins All: nicht erstmalig, aber nach längerer Pause fusionieren hidden technology (ht) und Spherical Distrupted zu einer Einheit. Die ht-typische Dokumentation persönlicher (und jetzt auch fremder) Lebensumwelten wird durch Spherical Distrupted ins Weltall befördert. Field Recordings im schalllosen Raum. Bodycocktail: “Nobody loves you my way. My heart, my soul, my way.” Across 25 years Zan Hoffman’s Bodycocktail project has nearly 250 releases ~ in excess of 2200 songs. Popular on Spain’s west coast in Galicia this artist from Kentucky has an extensive history in home-taping. 1984-2011 his label ZH27 was a networking powerhouse of creativity responsible for over 1100 releases including collaborations with over 300 artists worldwide. But these eye-watering figures do little to describe the wonder of his concerts. Zan’s live shows display consummate artistic commitment and are full of love and wonder. “Nobody loves you my way, no way!” he croons with the deepest sincerity. There are few artist that win over audiences unfamiliar to their work like Zan does.

Spherical Disrupted und Capsular sind zwei Projekte von Mirko Hentrich aus Mülheim/Ruhr. Spherical Disrupted ist sein Hauptprojekt und die ersten Veröffentlichung gab es bereits 1995, seit 2004 auf dem eigenen Label Audiophob. Der Sound von Spherical Disrupted kann als eine Mixtur aus Dark Ambient und IDM mit Einflüssen aus Acid und EBM bezeichnet werden. Live gab es Spherical Disrupted bislang in über 70 Konzerten in ganz Deutschland und Europa zu sehen, darunter auch auf großen Festivals wie Maschinenfest, Elektroanschlag, Schlagstrom-Festival, Wroclaw Industrial Festival und Summer Darkness.

Capsular hingegen ist ein 2010 gegründetes Seitenprojekt. Capsular erzeugt mit Hilfe von Geräuschaufnahmen und kaskadierten Effekten mal leise, mal laute, aber immer dunkle und bedrohliche Klanglandschaften ganz ohne Rhythmen oder Synthesizer-Sounds.

Nun werden die beiden Projekte das erste Mal zusammengeführt und es wird ein kombiniertes Live-Set uraufgeführt.

Das Synthetische Mischgewebe exists since some 30 years now with a variable membership. Formed in Berlin, the group, composed of interdisciplinary artists (visual artists, performers, musicians, writers and Engineers, Researchers) has presented performances, installations and concerts in many European countries as well as in New York, Montreal, Sao Paulo. DSM has also participated to symposiums, given lectures, participated to several publications and had artists residencies : Association, Pollen Monflanquin/Agen; Wharf, Centre d’Art Contemporaine, Herouville St Clair; Denkmalschmiede Höfgen; Akademie der Künste Berlin. Since 1999, the duo formed by Guido Hübner and Samuel Loviton has concentrated its activities on the music and collaborates since several years with Flavien Lavisse for the Live Video as well as Rainer Frey with whom the group worked already from 1985 to 1992. Since 2008 several room filling sound installations had been presented at different festivals, occasionally combined with performance works. These are primarily mechanical and electromagnetic environments in which the audience chooses its path amongst an ever evolving compositions of sound events composed of layered epicycles.
